Assurance in Him and His word are certain. They are the anchor of hope for our souls when in doubt. "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1. It is by faith that we have assurance, for we cannot see nor predict the outcome of circumstances or the future, but we do have the Lord, and he does promise us that what he has for us is better than what anything we could ever want for ourselves. Even when our ship is being tossed about in a raging sea, we have the assurance that God is with us all of the time, and he will anchor us, and help us weather the storms of life if we will trust in him with firm resolute.
