This simple branch serves as a reminder that as a believer in Christ Jesus and God's promises, we are grafted into God's Kingdom to share in the riches of His glory along with his chosen people. We are transformed from this grafting of a wild olive branch (that doesn't receive care and tending from a caretaker) onto a cultivated tree which then produces fruit and shares in the blessings of being cared for and tended to by the Master.

And this is God's plan: Both gentiles and Jews who believe in the Good News share equally in the riches inherited by God's Children. Both are part of the same body and both enojy the promise of blessings because they belong to Christ Jesus.
