The artist created this eagle inscribed with words "I will rise" as the perfect reminder for those who are in the midst of life's struggles, to keep on fighting each day, calling upon the strength that Lord provides us. The song 'Rise Up', performed by Andra Day inspired the artist to create this piece. The lyrics perfectly summing up the theme of the piece:
And I'll rise up
I'll rise up like the day,
I'll rise up,
I'll rise up unafraid,
I'll rise up, and I'll do it again a thousand times...
I will call out to You, save me and I will keep your testimonies. I rise before dawn and cry out for help; I wait for your word.

The eagle measures 1 1/8" wide. It comes on a split connection three short, one long cable chain, that is standard in a 16" for an average sized person.
